Are most jellyfish deepwater fish?

Jellyfish inhabit all parts of the ocean. I would say that many jellyfish are deep water fish but since the most common jellyfish in the world, the moon jellyfish, occupies temperate waters, near the surface of the ocean and is frequently found along the coast, I would not say that most jellyfish are deep water fish, or even true fish at all because the jellyfish is actually of the phyllum cnidaria.
