It depends on whether you’re talking about commercial or military aircraft, but if you’re considering aircraft of all types, probably yes. Boeing is clearly the largest US aircraft manufacturer and is second in the world in market share of commercial aircraft–just behind Europe’s Airbus corporation, which as of 2008 had a 54% market share. Boeing is mostly in the commercial aircraft business although it does supply significant amounts of military hardware as well. Lockheed Martin is the US’s top military aircraft manufacturer. (McDonnell-Douglas, formerly Boeing’s biggest competitor, merged with Boeing in 1997). 95% of Lockheed Martin’s revenue comes from US government contractors, making it virtually a private extension of the US Department of Defense.
