Are more tigers or rhinos poached every year?

Exact numbers are difficult to come up with, since both tigers and rhinos can be found on a few different continents and may live in a huge range of territory, but it is very likely that more tigers are being killed. For rhinos, most poaching occurs in Africa, where soaring demand for rhino horn from Asia has caused a large increase in killings. In 2010, it was estimated that 20 rhinos were being poached each month. In India, tigers are poached at an estimated rate of one per day, while approximately 51 per year are killed in Indonesia.
