There’s no research to prove which game/series is more resource intensive, though my gut feeling is that the world series is more resource intensive because it requires enough resources for a minimum of 4 games (and as many as 7) whereas the superbowl is only a single game.
I would probably say that the superbowl uses more resources, since there is a lot more that goes into it than the football game. I know some people that just watch the superbowl for the commercials and halftime show. A lot of energy and resources are put into making these commercials; just something to think about! However, I’m sure both the world series and superbowl are comparable in terms of energy useage.
