Generally yes because alot of land nowadays is being cut down for deforestation, in order ot be used for grazing land for cattle. Therefore, this is land previously that had trees that now do not. However, most of the land in use for commercial forestry uses a rotation system, where all the trees are harvested at once and immediately replanted at the same time in a ocntinous process, so in this situation each tree getting cut down is being replaced.
