Are monsoons the wettest type of natural disaster?

Monsoons aren’t a natural disaster so much as a natural phenomenon; lots of areas depend on monsoons for their crops and general survival.  Tropical cyclones, which are also called typhoons or hurricanes depending on what part of the world they are in, are the wettest form of natural disaster.
