Are the marketplaces on streets in poor countries good for the environment?

It depends on what they’re selling, but yes.  The product sold at these types of marketplaces are generally handmade or homegrown.  Therefore, the products were likely not made with preservatives or anything that would really be considered not eco-friendly.  Buying from these vendors directly benefits the people who produce the products, who are the poor of countries.
