Are the lungs in dolphins bigger or smaller than humans?

Dolphin lungs are not all that much bigger or smaller than human lungs, but they do contain more alveoli, or air cells, arranged into two layers of capillaries instead of just one, as is the case with humans and most land mammals. This makes gas exchange more efficient, and the surface area of the lungs much larger.
