Most lights are probably still neon lights, that is, shaped tubes of fluorescent reactive gas. However, there has been a growing movement in Las Vegas to incorporate LED lighting. Companies are currently developing extensive LED lighting systems, and several businesses in Las Vegas have adopted LED systems. Two prominent Las Vegas businesses who have adopted this are the Las Vegas Imperial Palace and Caesar’s Palace. Hopefully, more will adopt LED signs, because they are much longer-lived than most types of lighting systems!
