Lions typically have a body 8.5 to 10.8 feet long, with a tail 2 to 3.3 feet in length, and can weigh 330 to 530 pounds. Tigers have a bigger range of sizes because their males and females have a significant size difference; they can measure from 7.8 to 10.2 feet from head to tail tip, with a weight that ranges from 287-573 pounds. To conclude, then, lions are bigger than tigers, but male tigers can be about the same size as some lions while female tigers are smaller.
