    Yes, iron pans pose no major health risks as a cooking material.  Not only are iron pans sturdy, durable, versatile and inexpensive, but they also have next to no harmful effects.  In fact, the only thing that might seep into your cooking is a low dose of iron (in very safe amounts), a nutrient that the average person is lacking in.
