Are human flatulants as bad as animal flatulents for the environment?

Ruminant livestock, like cattle, have worse flatulence than humans. Human flatulence contains nitrogen, CO2, and traces of methane and hydrogen. The harmful gas is methane, but humans do not produce significant amounts of this – some don’t produce any methane at all. Cattle, on the other hand, account for 20% of global methane emissions.
