If you are asking about homes that are physically protected from fire damage as opposed to insurance protection, there are numerous ways that homes are constructed so that they are more fire-resistant. Asphalt shingles made from fiberglass are great for fire resistance, and so are recycled rubber roof tiles made with flame retardant. Lots of lumber used for home construction also contains flame retardant. Heat-reflective glass can also resist fire that’s creeping in from the outside–such as with wildfires. Insulation in housing should also be fire-rated according to code. You can check out the link below for a ton more ways to make your home more fire resistant, or to check to see what materials your house uses that protects it from fire damage.
