Are gorillas the strongest animal in the rainforest?

It depends on which rainforest we are referring to, as rain forests are located in Africa, South and Central America, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Northern Australia and New Zealand. In an African Rain Forest, it would be a tie between a gorilla and a leopard, because even though gorillas are more powerful in terms of brute strength, a leopard is faster and more agile, and if it got lucky, it could win. In other rain forests there are other animals, like tigers, jaguars, and crocodiles near 20-25 feet long, who would be stronger than either the leopard or the gorilla.
