Some are and some aren’t. Gluten is a binding agent, not wheat, and it is found in all sorts of food products such as ice cream, ketchup, and sausage. There are some gluten-free foods that could contain a lot of sugar and wouldn’t be healthy for diabetics to consume.
They are good for basically anyone, and do not sepcifically help someone with diabetes. However there is an unusually high correlation between people with both type 1 diabetes and celiac’s disease. The ACDA found that celiac’s disease is found in 1 person in 250, but as high as 1 in 20 for people with Type 1diebetes.
