Gasoline is a mixture of about 150 chemicals refined from crude oil. The immediate effects can be dizziness, irritation of lungs and nose and headaches. Long Term effects can lead to certain cancers (due to benzine), damage to the nervous system or lungs, and reproductive systems can be compromised.

If you feel that you have inhaled an excessive amount of gasoline vapor you should immediately seek medical attention.
