Modern electric motors are pretty efficient, often running at over 90%. (The rest goes into heat.) A few motors get to 95%.
One minor thing to consider is motor speed and load. The efficiency changes somewhat if the motor isn’t running at the speed, and with the load that it was designed to work best at.
