I don’t believe so. Climbing ropes are made out of nylon and are woven with a strong core and outer woven sheath to protect the core. Because it takes nylon 30-40 years to biodegrade (and we are likely not talking biodegradation into dirt) and the fact that you want your climbing ropes to have the same fidelity the 10th time you use them as the first, they are not made to be biodegradable.
