Are Chinese citizens afraid of the effects of climate change?

    A recent poll conducted by Globe Scan and the BBC has revealed that although global public concern over climate change has been on the rise, in both the United States and China it has instead fallen. Researchers polled 27,000 citizens in 23 countries, and found that 64% of those polled found climate change to be a “very serious problem”. However, only 45% of Americans and 57% of Chinese citizens felt this way. On a positive note, 89% of Chinese citizens support government investment in addressing climate change
