Are children whose parents care about the environment more likely to have green lifestyles when they grow up?

Generally, yes. If the parents don’t force it, but instead explain why caring about the environment is important, then the children will likely absorb some of that mentality when they grow older. They may be apathetic for a while, as children and teenagers inevitably are, but children tend to take the good/beneficial parts of their mom and dad’s parenting styles once they get older. Again, as long as there’s nothing extremely negative about the way the parents push environmental issues on their children, then the kids will probably take it to heart later on.
