Children will be around longer to deal with the changing climate, and they may have to make personal decisions and lead stricter, less comfortable lives than their parents. Also, they will have to make more difficult decisions in regards to how to deal with climate change, as well as deal with local and international policies in regards to regulating emissions.
I think that children are more at risk because they stand to suffer the consequences farther into the future. Also, such conditions such as asthma have the potential to increase due to changes to and worsening quality of the climate.
