Are capillaries veins?

No. Capillaries are distinct from veins and arteries because they are much smaller. Capillaries are so narrow that only one blood cell at a time can fit through them. Capillary walls are so thin, the oxygen in our blood is delivered to our cells through the capillary walls, and carbon dioxide enters our bloodstream in the same manner, to be carried by our bloodstream to the lungs.
