One way in which bulldozers are harmful to the environment is through the exhaust and soot that is emitted into the air by these machines/vehicles.

Bulldozers are only one machine of many used in the construction process to level land. They can be used to knock down trees and carry them away quickly. Leveling lots of land is bad for the environment in general. It can disturb the natural flow of water through an area and lead to problems like erosion, flooding, and massive landslides. Trees help regulate water flow through an area by absorbing excess water through their roots. Without trees, water will not be absorbed as easily and may do some things that we don’t want it to do. People deal with this problem by making sewers to artificially drain water out of their cities, but sewers are very expensive to build.
