The largest frog in the world is the Goliath Frog measuring an average of 33 centimeters. Unfortunately this animal has suffered a great population decrease due to various factors. Goliaths are losing their rainforest home with deforestation. Even though efforts have been made to preserve their existence, these large frogs do not breed well in captivity. Other factors the Goliaths’ numbers have decreased were hunters killing them for either food or to sell as pets. Demand for the frogs fell, but with other factors affecting its well being its numbers need to rise higher.
