Are brick homes pretty efficient?

Yes, brick homes are efficient because brick is known to have thermal mass properties that allows it to store and slowly release heat. For example, during the winter, when temperatures are lower, brick is more efficient in storing heat and radiating it back into the house. During the summer, when temperatures are higher, brick slowly releases heat so that the house stays cooler.
