Badgers are not found in all areas of the United States, but around in the northern portions, like Wisconsin where it is the mascot of the University of Wisconsin – Madison. They are currently not threatened, but they live in burrows and do not have high population densities. It is likely that many badgers go unobserved, making believe that they are endangered.
