    Yes. In fact, a recent study revealed that more than eighty percent of antartic glaciers have retreated or shrunk over the past few years, in response to rising temperatures.

    Yes, Antarctic glaciers are indeed melting, and at a faster rate than previously.  The glaciers have been melting at a relatively constant rate for the past 14,000 years which is natural for the climate of the earth between its ice ages and natural climate changes.  According to scientists, however, they are melting at almost 20 times their previous rate.  Since the 1990’s the glaciers have been melting at a rate of 1.6 meters per year compared with 2-4cm for the past 14,000 years.
