Are alley ways between buildings bad for the environment?

    Chicago has a new initiative for “green” alleyways.  Concrete alleyways can increase damage from storm water and watershed pollution.  Chicago’s new program, started in 2006, involves paving alleyways that will absorb more water into the subsoil and filter out pollutants.
