No, many of them are not biodegradable (partly because of the chemicals used to treat them), but people are coming up with biodegradable ones.
Check out the link in citations for an example of biodegradable textile made from bamboo (but keep in mind that there has been much controversy over whether Rayon bamboo textiles are actually biodegradable.)
Definitely not. Firstly, many dyes used in clothing and other textiles are not biodegradable, and secondly, many chemicals used to produce cotton (etc.) are not biodegradable. However, some textiles in particular are intentionally biodegradable, so seek these out if you can!
