All or almost all fish species are affected by climate change in some way or another. Australian scientists recently conducted research that shows that changing temperatures have had an impact on the growth of fish populations. Fish living above 825 feet have shown an increase in numbers while fish living below 3,300 feet have decreased in number. This could be bad for certain species that are not ready to handle an increase or decrease in population.
Furthermore, overfishing, acidification of oceans, and pollution from urban and agricultural run-off have all had a major negative impact on fish species in oceans and seas all around the world.
