Are air shows worse for the environment than a nascar race?

    That is a tough question!

Both utilize a lot of fuel and produce a lot of noise, which likely scares away local wildlife. Both cars and planes release harmful emissions into the air.

However, NASCAR races are confined to a track, which is a relatively small area. Air shows often cover very large expanses of the sky, which probably disrupts a lot more wildlife and releases fumes and harmful emissions tino a much wider area. I would suspect that air shows, overall, are worse, although it is probably a close contest.
