Approximately how many people commute cross-country by weekly flights?

For 2009, approximately 618 million passengers were in the air for the US. For a weekly average, that would break down to approximately 11.852 million passengers per week. Passenger loads and flight numbers vary by season, though.

This applies to cross-country travel flights in general.
