The Pittsburgh G-20 Partnership — which started with the city, Allegheny County, VisitPittsburgh and the Allegheny Conference on Economic Development — has pledges worth nearly $500,000 from 20 underwriters and contributors to the Group of 20 summit. Alcoa, Bayer, BNY Mellon, PPG Industries, PNC Financial Services, U.S. Steel Corp., Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Pittsburgh and others each pledged $35,000 and up.
