To add, any class dealing with helping grow plants sustainably or raising animals responsibly would be considered helpful to the environment so they would be considered green. Say your major is Horticulture, you are learning about the land and how to use it responsibly. Also, ecology is a great green major that helps plants and plant life.
I would not say that any major that pertains to plants or animals in any capacity is necessarily “green.” The actual subject matter and application of the education I think are what can make a major “green.”
