With amphibian populations in decline, are frogs’ legs still legal or sustainable?

The eating of frog legs is still legal.  As of right now it is not sustainable as many of the frog populations are declining and many of the wild stocks have been depleted while the demand for this delicacy gets higher.  There needs to be a quota on wild populations but this is both costly and hard to monitor.  Too add to the trouble, frog farming has not been a successful process creating further worries about the sustainability of frog legs.
