Is wind always going to be a renewable resource?

Yes. At least as long as the sun continues to shine (several billion years) and the earth continues to rotate. Wind is created by changes in air pressure and temperature which are, in turn, created by light from the sun, and also by Coriolis forces resulting from the Earth’s rotation.

Like any renewable resource, there is a limit to how much wind energy we can sustainably harvest each year, but we aren’t even close to that level yet.
