On Amazon.com you can buy natural or raw honey as cheap as $0.40/oz or $0.49/oz. Meanwhile, you can purchase regular honey for $0.18/oz, about half the price.

When buying natural honey, be aware that stores can label their foods “natural honey”  without it signifiying that the honey is unpasturized or unheated; your best bet is to look for a “raw honey” label.

Honey that is produced from local apiculturists and sold in farmers’ markets may be expensive, with a jar costing $8-$10.
