No. Some bacteria are in fact beneficial to humans. Bacteria live in the human digestive tract, and allow us to digest our food– without them, we would die of starvation. Yogurt, some cheeses, and beer are intentionally “contaminated” with benign or beneficial bacteria in order to allow them to ferment.
