Given the mixing properties of air currents and the short difference in distance between the ground and the height a tree house would be at, there would likely be little to no difference in air quality between a house on the ground and a tree house. The prevailing factor would be where the structure is located in regards to polluting sources. For example: Is the tree house in a relatively urban area or is it out in the country? If it is in a city, is there a problem with pollution or not?
