Yes, I think agriculture will be at least one of the hardest parts of sustainability. Right now 8.2 percent of all greenhouse gas emissions are from agriculture in the economic sector. While that doesn’t seem very high compared to electric power’s 33.5 and transportations 27.7, agriculture’s emissions will only go up as the population grows and we need more food. The other two will only go down because we are pushing efficiency. It is very hard to cut the emissions from methane and other agricultural sources.
