Is there any technology to capture water vapor in the air for use as a freshwater supply?

It is possible to capture water vapor from the air and condense it into drinking water. The air simply needs to be cooled to cause the water vapor to become liquid. Then the liquid is collected. In Australia, which has experienced widespread drought over the last two decades, atmospheric water generators have been used to convert water vapor into thousands of liters of drinking water.
