Different sizes and types of plants produce different amounts of energy, so there's no precise equivalency rate. However, the world's largest nuclear power plant, Kashiwazaki-Kariwa in Japan, has an installed capacity almost double that of the world's largest coal-fired power plants, one of which is Kendal Power Station in South Africa. Bełchatów Power Station in Poland is another contender for the largest coal-fired plant, with a slightly higher but comparable installed capacity than Kendal.
