Where is the largest man made cavern?
The largest man-made cave in the world is under the Rock of Gibraltar. It was carved out Canadian troops and engineers during World War II, as Gibraltar was Field Marshall Montgomery's headquarters for part of the war. Gibraltar itself has more caves and tunnels underneath it than it has public roads on top.
