Mother Earth might say, "What makes you humans think you are better than every other living creature, as well as myself? Why do you hurt me so? I give you food, shelter, and everything you need to sustain life and thrive, yet you burn me, kill my children, and turn me into a wasteland. If you are not careful, I will not be here to provide for you forever."

I'm sure Mother Earth is already telling us what she thinks about our abuse of her by the tsunamis and the depletion of the ozone layer, the droughts and floods and the climate changes. The more we abuse her, the more dramatic her reaction will continue to be to us.
