Do contractors that build green buildings get help from the government?

Yes. There is billions of dollars available via federal grants that contractors can take advantage of to help ease the costs of construction. Especially since new "green" technology is still rather pricey, the government provides lots of aid to help subsidize these products that they want contractors to help implement into America's daily life.
