Most indoor ranges collect their wasted ammo shells by simply sweeping the shells and then picking them up. Some places reload the shotgun shells and others collect the handgun shells for metal recycling. Depending on how many rounds are fired, this happens daily or weekly. Most places also vacuum around the booth to clear the area of lead contaminants.
