What teas are grown in America?
Although most tea is grown in third world countries like India, China, and Japan, some tea is grown in Charleston, South Carolina, Burlington, Washington, and in Hawaii (about 80 acres of land). In the South Carolina factory, black, oolong, and green tea is produced between May and October. In addition, Washington also grows black, oolong, and green teas. The state has about 5 acres of land used for the production of tea.
