Are earth quakes that are deep more dangerous than he shallow ones?

Generally speaking, no; deep earthquakes tend to be shorter and have less aftershocks.  They usually releive more tension in the earth than shallow earthquakes, meaning subsequent earthquakes are less likely to occur.
