What is a Potash Mine?
Potash is a type of salt containing potassium, which is overwhelmingly used in fertilizers but also in rubber, explosives, and medicine. Potash is extracted from the Earth's crust in mines, either deep shaft mines or by strip mining. The biggest exporter of Potash is Canada, but it's mined around the world.
