As a business concern, solar panel manufacturing has a constant impetus to make their facilities more efficient, especially since their entire field rests upon how well they can provide proof to their customers that they are green. Although solar panel manufacturing is already a fairly green concern (with many facilities using no more than 5MW a day), manufacturers improve even on this amount by constantly designing new solar panels that are more efficient, using the same materials, allowing them to pump out greater volume without using more material.
